About Creinagh Knitwear
Award winning Northern Irish Designer Creinagh Townsley studied for her BA(Hons) in Fashion & Textile Design at the University of Ulster.
Her knitwear label was established in 1998.
Creinagh is continually developing her collection of merino wool knits and felted garments, combining modern technology with the ancient craft of wet felting to produce garments which are lightweight and warm.
Her work is renowned for its eclectic use of colour and luxurious soft finish.
Sustainability plays an important part of her knitwear story “I’m passionate about the benefits of wearing wool, its sustainability defines it as slow fashion”.
Every unique item is individually produced by Creinagh in her studio in Crawfordsburn, Northern Ireland. as each piece is one-off or limited edition, everyone can enjoy the sense of wearing a truly one-of -a kind garment.
